CELICA GT (2000)
Side Mirror replacement.
At some point in your ownership you may need to replace a side mirror through damage or failure. I purchased my GT used and it came with a damaged
but fully functional passenger side mirror. It would not have been worth paying a dealer to change it and the cost of a new mirror alone would have
been prohibitive. eBay however is a different proposition!
I found a replacement, used, mirror for less the $60 shipped!
Note the plastic covers over the mirror mount and inside the door release that hides a screw. Also note you can get at the mirror
without completely removing the door panel just lift it up; off the door and pull it back a little. Below are some diagrams and photos:
